Houston Rockets general manager Daryl Morey believes superstar point guard Russell Westbrook is going to flourish in head coach Mike D'Antoni's system.

Morey says D'Antoni is great at adjusting his system for a player instead of asking the player to change his game. The Rockets' architect also mentioned how Westbrook said at his introductory press conference he's more than capable of being an effective off-ball player since he's a good cutter.

As we all know, Russell Westbrook and James Harden are two of the most ball-dominant players in NBA history. Westbrook has averaged a triple-double three seasons in a row, while Harden has led the NBA in scoring the past two seasons. Both superstars are going to have to adjust their games for this partnership to work in Houston.

Since Westbrook is the better driver and more explosive, a case can be made the Rockets should play Westbrook at the point guard spot full-time. When Westbrook drives to the rim and collapses the paint, that's going to leave guys like Harden, Eric Gordon, PJ Tucker and Gerald Green wide-open on the perimeter.

Harden is a really good driver as well, but Westbrook isn't that reliable of a jump shooter, especially from beyond the arc.
