There is arguably no bigger individual honor in the NBA than winning the Most Valuable Player award. This is exactly what Houston Rockets superstar James Harden achieved last season after a stellar campaign.

However, the future Hall of Famer has just done one better by being GIPHY's most popular GIF ever. Being the best player in the league is one thing, but ruling over the internet is on a whole different level.

The NBA's GIPHY page recently hit the 20 billion views mark (wow!), and to commemorate the momentous event, the site released its top five GIFs ever. Well, Harden's unforgettable post-interview exit reigned supreme — and rightfully so:

With this achievement, Harden can say that he has certainly reached the pinnacle of his career. Not only is he the top player in the sport (for last season, at least), but he has also proven his innate ability to connect with billions of people across the world with the use of a single expression. He didn't even have to utter a single word.

On a more serious note, though, Harden's Rockets have been struggling of late. Very few could argue that the 29-year-old is not doing his bit for the team, as he is still putting up MVP numbers so far this season: 29.8 points (on 43.9 percent shooting), 4.0 3-pointers (at a 37.0 percent clip), 5.6 rebounds, 8.3 assists, 2.1 steals, and 0.6 blocks in 36.1 minutes per contest.

Then again, James Harden is averaging a career-high 5.8 turnovers in the first few months of the season, and this has surely contributed to his team's problematic start to the new campaign.
