The 2018 NBA MVP and Rockets superstar just gave a family $10,000 after he saw them struggling to fish for food.

On the court, Harden is one of the most tenacious players, especially on the offensive end — an unstoppable scorer who can get to the rim at will. But off the court, The Beard shows kindness and care for his fellow citizens, especially those who are less fortunate.
In a country that has been divided by political conflict and damaged by mass violence, stories like these are actually what we need. People who value the welfare of others should restore some of your faith in humanity.
A significant amount of NBA players' salaries usually goes to charities, but some of them like Harden find ways to help even further. The money he gave that family may not be enough to keep them fed for long, but for a significant amount of time, they will feel a little bit of comfort, knowing that they won't have to work hard to find food.
