James Harden and the Houston Rockets got destroyed by the Philadelphia 76ers on Monday, losing by a final score of 121-93. The Rockets were outscored 29-13 in the third quarter and the Sixers never looked back after that.
James Harden finished with a game-high 37 points. The reigning MVP has now scored at least 30 points in 20 consecutive games, a feat that has only been done by the great Wilt Chamberlain.

James Harden entered Monday averaging a league-leading 35.7 points per game. That average will go up after his 37-point performance in Philly.
The scoring tear which Harden is on right now is something you see in video games. Since All-Star point guard Chris Paul went down with a hamstring injury on Dec. 20 against the Miami Heat in South Beach, Harden is averaging a whopping 43.5 points per contest.
The last time The Beard didn't score at least 30 points was all the way back on Dec. 11 when he finished with 29 points versus the Portland Trail Blazers.
James Harden was the only Rocket who showed up on Monday against the Sixers. Shooting guard Gerald Green (18) and newcomer Kenneth Faried (13) were the only other players to score in double figures for Houston, who dropped to 26-20 on the year with the loss.
Harden shot 12-of-26 from the field, 6-of-13 from beyond the arc, and 7-of-8 from the free-throw line. Gerald Green (6-of-16) and Eric Gordon (2-of-13) were the only other players on the Rockets who took double-digit shots.
