Houston Rockets guard Russell Westbrook made history last night when he notched his 139th triple-double of his career, passing Lakers legend Magic Johnson on the all-time triple-doubles list.
His partner-in-crime, James Harden, made history of his own, though not in a positive way. Per Andy Bailey of Bleacher Report, Harden's 2-of-18 shooting performance from beyond the arc became the worst shooting performance of any player who hoisted up at least 18 three-pointers in a game.

Before tonight, there had been 35 individual games of at least 18 three-point attempts.
The previous low for makes was five (two games from Harden in January of 2019, and one game from Damon Stoudamire in 2005).

Just another one of those absurd James Harden records. Harden is notorious for racking up some mind-boggling records, whether good or bad.
In the 2019 playoffs, Harden had a game where he started off 0-of-15 from the field. He also holds the record for most turnovers in a playoff game.
The 2018 MVP had a frustrating night overall against the New Orleans Pelicans as he shot just 8-of-29 from the field overall and committed eight turnovers. In fact, his frustration was very visible especially near the end of the first half when he slammed the ball to the ground and hit his own face by doing so.
Harden still top-scored for Houston with 29 points and added five boards and four assists. He also went 11-of-12 from the free-throw line to salvage his rather horrible night.
Nevertheless, Harden probably doesn't care about what showed up in the stat-sheet or in the history books. The Rockets won and notched their first win of the young season.
Russell Westbrook had a spectacular evening to lead Houston past the sneaky Pelicans. He finished with 28 points, 10 rebounds, and 13 assists. And unlike Harden, Westbrook shot the ball efficiently, going 9-of-17 from the field.
