James Harden of the Houston Rockets had one of the best offensive seasons in recent NBA history this past season, but his playoff resume so far has not quite lived up to the sterling production he puts together during the 82-game full slate of games.

Though his Rockets easily moseyed past the Utah Jazz in the first round, the team’s second-round series against the Golden State Warriors will be one for the ages.

Early on in Tuesday night’s second game of the series between the two teams, Harden was injured by the swinging hand of human wrecking ball Draymond Green (whose outstretched arms and windmilling legs have been known to cause problems in the playoffs) when Green whacked Harden in the head – apparently injuring his eye.

The Rockets were without Harden for a while, but he did return. When he did, however, his eyes… did not look good.

After returning, Harden could be seen squinting and blinking frequently, clearly trying to return to the form that helped the lead the Rockets to a 4-seed in the highly competitive Western Conference.

Only time will tell what happens in the series, but, for now, Harden has returned with a wonky eye.
