John Wall is set to take part in his first road game against his former team in the Washington Wizards on Monday. Ahead of his showdown with the Wizards, Wall didn't hold back on his comments about facing his former team, via The Athletic's Kelly Iko.

Of course, Wall is likely looking forward to seeing Bradley Beal, who was Wall's teammate for seven years in Washington. The veteran point guard recently spoke about his departure from the Wizards, iterating that his biggest disappointment in being trade was not having the chance to pursue a championship with Beal one more time.

Earlier this season, when the Rockets faced the Wizards at home, Wall and Beal took some time to speak to each other after the game. Wall and Beal would share a hug on the court, which is against the league's health and safety protocols amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

Provided that, there's no doubt that John Wall will welcome the chance to see his close friend in Beal. On the other hand, Wall is likely anxious to get an opportunity to show the front office of the Wizards that they made a mistake in trading him.
