New Houston Rockets point guard John Wall is pretty well accustomed to the scuttlebutt that comes with trade rumors.

Wall himself was enveloped by speculation after Shams Charania of The Athletic reported the Rockets and Washington Wizards discussed a swap involving the former No. 1 pick and Russell Westbrook.

It was subsequently reported Wall himself requested a trade, though Wizards general manager Tommy Sheppard initially stated he was not trading the star point guard. But the Wizards and Rockets did in fact agree to the swap, with Wall heading to H-Town.

Having gained personal clarity, Wall has now been exposed to a ton of noise surrounding Rockets guard James Harden.

But Wall tried to keep the Harden saga in simple terms Thursday.

The 30-year-old said he feels Harden, who has requested a trade, will make the best decision for himself. Wall added he thinks the organization will do the same.

The list of teams “The Beard” would prefer in a trade grew again Thursday, with Charania reporting the Milwaukee Bucks and Miami Heat are on Harden's list.

Harden seems fairly intent on leaving Houston. This is a bit curious, considering previous reports suggested he preferred playing with Wall to Westbrook. Now that Wall has arrived, wouldn't Harden like to see how the two gel on the court?

There are a ton of questions when it comes to Harden's future the Rockets. But Wall believes things will take care of themselves, for better or worse.

In the meantime, John Wall is preparing for the next chapter in his basketball career.
