Houston Rockets guard John Wall certainly thinks that his teammate in Demarcus Cousins needs to see more time on the floor in their coming games. This came after the Kentucky product liked a post from ClutchPoints on Instagram claiming that the Rockets ‘need more Boogie' in their coming games.

The 30-year-old big man is expected to see an increased minutes after starting center Christian Wood went down with an ankle sprain in his right foot. He sustained the injury midway through Thursday's game against the Memphis Grizzlies and is considered week-to-week.

Despite Wood's absence, the Rockets still managed to carve a 115-103 victory to improve to an 11-10 record. Cousins is currently averaging norms of 14.6 points, 13.6 rebounds, and 3.4 assists in all five games that he started throughout the season.

In totality, he is currently tallying 8.8 points, 7.3 rebounds, and 2.5 assists in 18.7 minutes of action through 19 appearances this season. Basing on the numbers, Cousins' production increases dramatically once he gets to see more minutes on the floor.

On Saturday night against the San Antonio Spurs, the four-time All-Star produced a double-double of 12 points and 11 rebounds in 30 minutes in their first game since Woods' injury. Despite Cousins' increased minutes, they still fell short on a 111-106 defeat to drop back to 11-11 for the 10th spot in the Western Conference.

Amid Christian Wood's uncertain situation, Rockets head coach Stephen Silas will have to fully maximize DeMarcus Cousins now that he is relatively healthy as compared to recent seasons. The Houston-based squad will aim to get back in the win column when they visit the Charlotte Hornets on Feb. 8.
