Former NBA big man Kendrick Perkins says Chris Paul's biggest issue is his ego.

Perkins says Paul doesn't know how to be held accountable and lead guys on the floor.

“His biggest issue is his ego,” Perkins said on ESPN's First Take. “One thing I've learned with playing with a lot of superstars…one thing I've learned is superstars are guys that can be held accountable. And also superstars lead by example.

“But the thing I've seen about CP, I've watched him, I've been on the other team…I've heard him more get on guys more so than encourage guys.”

Chris Paul didn't get along with James Harden on the Houston Rockets and had issues with DeAndre Jordan and Blake Griffin on the Los Angles Clippers. An anonymous player on the Clippers once told ESPN he wishes Paul would say “my fault” when he made a mistake.

The Oklahoma City Thunder are trying to trade Paul after acquiring him from the Rockets in the blockbuster Russell Westbrook trade. CP3 has arguably the worst contract in the league. Add to the fact that his rep has gotten worse over the years, and it's hard to envision a title contender taking a chance on Chris Paul at this stage of his career.
