Kevin Porter Jr. has left the building. The Houston Rockets wing reportedly left the Toyota Center right in the middle of their New Year's Day bout with the Denver Nuggets.

The news on the Rockets youngster was reported by ESPN's Tim MacMahon, who claims that it was spurred by a “heated halftime discussion”.

According to The Athletic's Shams Charania, the issue stemmed after he was one of several players who got called out by Rockets assistant coach John Lucas.

After Rockets assistant John Lucas called out multiple players including Kevin Porter Jr. and Christian Wood at halftime tonight vs. Nuggets, Porter had a heated exchange with Lucas, threw an object and promptly left the arena – and Wood refused to sub into second half.

It's not the first time that Kevin Porter Jr. was involved in a temper tantrum. During his early days with the Cleveland Cavaliers, he had reportedly thrown a fit and tossed his food after the team had moved his locker room to a different spot, instead giving his original locker to Taurean Prince.

His locker was moved to the area supposedly designated for the younger players and end-of-bench members of the roster. It wasn't long after that he was traded away to the Houston Rockets. Could we see a similar move in the days to come?
