The Rockets did not skip a beat in Paul's return by scoring a franchise-record 90 points in the first half against the Phoenix Suns.

Mike D'Antoni has settled in nicely with the Rockets after a few forgettable stops over the last few years. Although his teams are well-known for being offensive juggernauts, this year's squad is among the best defensive units in the NBA.

The Rockets have now moved to 12-4 on the season, which is good enough to replace the Golden State Warriors atop the Western Conference. However, that will not prevent D'Antoni from bringing the intensity for his team on every possession, no matter the situation.
