Chris Paul is known across the league for being one of the toughest teammates to play with. He demands the very best from his fellow players and plays very competitively when he's on the court.
He also has a storied record with officials. In Thursday evening's game against the Boston Celtics, Paul was yet again given a technical foul for his antics. This time, it was arguing about whether or not speaking with Brent Barnaky was a break. It was semantics at best, but a very funny moment indeed.
Was told by two players that Chris Paul got his T for saying, "Taking a break? Taking a break?" He was in a conversation with Brent Barnaky. Said he is allowed in a time out to do that. Barnaky told him he was taking a break, which Paul repeated twice. Technical foul.

Paul has struggled with offensive consistency and health early on this season. It seems as if Paul is finally peaking in his age 33 season. The same explosiveness off the dribble isn't quite there.
Perhaps it's just the injury bug talking, but Paul isn't shooting nearly as well from the field or from deep. His assist numbers are down.
James Harden has had to carry this team with MVP-like numbers over this past month for the Rockets to even stay competitive. Paul had struggled with a hamstring injury that left him day-t0day last week, but at some point, he needs to be accountable for his poor play.
Paul has played 26 games this year for the Rockets, averaging 33.2 minutes per game. He's scoring 15.6 points, grabbing 4.0 rebounds, and dishing out 8.0 assists per game while shooting 41.5 percent from the field and 35.3 percent from behind the arc.
The Rockets are 18-15 on the season and currently sit 7th in the NBA's Western Conference under head coach Mike D'Antoni. They will face off next against the New Orleans Pelicans in the Smoothie King Center.
