Houston Rockets forward PJ Tucker believes that the reported tension within their team is not a big deal.

Tucker addressed rumors about the Rockets being on a downward trajectory because of the irreparable relationship of superstars Chris Paul and James Harden. It was reported that Paul demanded for a trade after several tense moments with Harden during their run in the 2018-19 NBA season.

According to Sam Amick of The Athletic, Tucker confirmed that there was tension within their team. However, the veteran power forward insisted that such tension is normal in good teams. He also cited the highly publicized confrontation between Golden State Warriors superstar Draymond Green and Kevin Durant during a game in November.

“Everybody is going to fight. Everybody is going to argue,” Tucker said. “That’s a part of it, dawg. People don’t realize, we’re together like eight hours a day. Like dude, you’re just getting on my fucking nerves today, like I’m just sick of seeing you. Like, that’s just how it is, man. It’s part of the business.”

Tucker blasted the reports on the alleged Harden-Paul rift, calling it “fake news.” Paul himself has already denied that he asked the Rockets to trade him, declaring that he will stay and that they are just all about winning in Houston.
