Houston Rockets superstar point guard Russell Westbrook is a father to three beautiful children.
With that said, the former MVP admitted on Saturday that one of the reasons he's been so active in instilling change in America is because he doesn't want his kids to grow up fearing the police.

George Floyd, Breonna Taylor and Ahmaud Arbery were all killed at the hands of white policemen. Players such as Brooklyn Nets superstar point guard Kyrie Irving and Los Angeles Lakers shooting guard Avery Bradley are fearful that the return of basketball at Walt Disney World will detract the public from the ongoing social and racial justice campaigns taking place across America.
Russell Westbrook and the Rockets are among the 22 teams scheduled to partake in the “bubble” games. Until then though, the triple-double machine is going to do everything in his power to fight for African American rights so that his three children can grow up in a better place.
Earlier this week, it was announced that the Rockets star guard is funding a docu-series about one of the darkest chapters in the history of the state of Oklahoma. Westbrook will be the executive producer for “Terror In Tulsa: The Rise And Fall of Black Wall Street.” It will cover the Tulsa Race Massacre of 1921, in which a violent white mob destroyed a black community, which is now known as “Black Wall Street.”
Before basketball games were suspended in March, Westbrook and the Rockets racked up 40 wins while losing 24. Houston has already clinched a playoff spot for the 2020 postseason.
