After the Houston Rockets struggled to get a Game 1 victory over the Minnesota Timberwolves on Sunday they could get a big boost for Wednesday's game.

According to Jonathan Feigen of the Houston Chronicle, Ryan Anderson could return from injury on Wednesday night for Game 2. He missed the last four games of the regular season and Game 1 of the first round series with an ankle sprain.

“The last I heard is he had a good workout before the game,” Rockets coach Mike D'Antoni told the Houston Chronicle. “He has a real good shot (to play on) Wednesday and definitely on Saturday. Now, it's going (to be about) how can we work him back in because he hasn't played in two weeks? It's not like, ‘Oh yeah Ryan. Go ahead. It doesn't mean a lot, this game.'”

The Rockets struggled from deep in Game 1 making only 10-of-37 three-point attempts. James Harden made seven of those, but didn't get much help. Eric Gordon was really off with his shot going 1-of-7 from three.

For Anderson, he has been their best three-point shooter all season in terms of percentage coming into this game hitting 38.6 percent from deep. He has been even better against the Timberwolves this year hitting 5o percent of his shots from deep.

If he is able to come back for Game 2 that should be a huge boost from deep, and it will cause matchup problems for the Wolves.

It will allow the Rockets to play their death lineup and it will probably mean that Karl-Anthony Towns is going to have to go out to the three-point line and play defense, something he isn't very good at.
