We still have four months left in the NBA season but Bovada already seems to be looking forward to next season, specifically in terms of LeBron James future.

According to Arash Markazi of ESPN Bovada has released odds for which team James will land on next year. The list goes like this:

  • Houston Rockets: 5/2
  • Cleveland Cavaliers: 11/4
  • Los Angeles Lakers: 5/1
  • Golden State Warriors: 6/1
  • Detroit Pistons: 10/1
  • Philadelphia 76ers: 10/1
  • Minnesota Timberwolves: 12/1
  • San Antonio Spurs: 14/1

After yesterday's trade deadline and speculation that LeBron had a say in the moves it would make it seem a little more likely that he would return to Cleveland, a thought that if brought up a week ago would seem very unlikely.

The Rockets though have a very compelling case as to why the King should take his talents to the Lonestar State. He is very good friends with Chris Paul and they both have hinted that they would like to play with each other. Pair James Harden with Paul and James and that is one heck of a big three.

The Rockets are also close to the cap line right now, but they could free up some cap room this summer, although it would probably take a first-round draft pick.

After this year Ryan Anderson will have two years left on a deal that pays him $41.5 million dollars, a deal that looks terrible now.

There were some rumors that they would trade him before the trade deadline, but with them owing this first round draft pick to the Hawks it was very hard to pull off.

But once the season is over it could be easier to move Anderson, and would that mean a chance at a new big three in Houston?
