The high-powered Houston Rockets continue to click on all cylinders in the 2017-18 NBA season. However, they may have suffered perhaps their second key loss of the season during their 108-96 win over the Charlotte Hornets.

Forward Luc Richard Mbah a Moute sustained what appeared to be a serious shoulder injury late in the second quarter versus the Hornets. However, reports say he managed to avoid any critical damage and will likely be out two-to-three weeks, according to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski:

Plenty has been said about the Rockets having arguably the most talented offense in the league. However, they have also been one of the NBA's best defensive units in the as well.

Part of the reason has been thanks to versatile defenders like Mbah a Moute. The former second-round pick has been one of their most dynamic defensive players coming off the bench. Not only is he capable of guarding nearly every position on the floor, but he has even stepped up and played center whenever Houston decides to play small-ball.

Needless to say, the Rockets will miss his presence on the defensive end for the next two-to-three weeks. As a result, power forward Ryan Anderson and center Nene could see an increase in minutes for the time being.
