All-Star guard James Harden is still a member of the Houston Rockets as it stands today. However, despite the two sides seemingly coming to a mutual understanding for at least the time being, it looks like controversy follows The Beard.
Harden created some new headlines for all the wrong reasons on Tuesday evening against the San Antonio Spurs, as Twitter was quick to judge the Rockets superstar and his physique. In all likelihood, it was just poor timing for Harden who looked a bit heavier than usual as he warmed up for the team's preseason clash.

Sure enough, the Twitterverse has not been kind to the Rockets star, with more and more NBA fans trolling Harden for his physique.

Even though James Harden is in uniform for the Rockets, the NBA rumor mill has continued to churn with the All-Star guard at the forefront of more than a few potential trade scenarios.
With the Rockets initially trading All-Star point guard and longtime Oklahoma City Thunder standout Russell Westbrook to the Washington Wizards after just one season in Houston, it appeared as though Harden could be the next one out the door. Nonetheless, after John Wall and veteran NBA center DeMarcus Cousins joined in on the fun for Houston, perhaps Harden will be willing to stick around for the 2020-21 campaign.
It is worth noting, though, that Harden has already been linked to the Brooklyn Nets, Philadelphia 76ers and Miami Heat as potential landing spots via trade.
