The Boston Celtics, Orlando Magic, Dallas Mavericks and Charlotte Hornets have reportedly been linked to the Houston Rockets in trade talks, according to Steve Kyler of Basketball Insiders.
The Rockets are reportedly aggressively trying to move point guard Chris Paul, shooting guard Eric Gordon, and center Clint Capela:

The Rockets lost to the Golden State Warriors in the second round of the playoffs in six games. It was the second straight postseason Houston got bounced by Golden State.
Paul arguably has the worst contract in the NBA. CP3 signed a lucrative four-year, $159.7 million deal with the Rockets in the summer of 2018. He'll make $38,506,482 next season, $41,358,814 in 2020-21 and has a player option worth $44,211,146 for 2021-22.
Capela signed a five-year, $90 million deal with the Rockets last offseason. The big man will earn $14,896,552 next season. Capela is widely considered to be an easy trade target since his contract isn't as bad as Paul's and he's only 25 years old.
Gordon has one year left on his deal. The Rockets owe him $14,057,730 next season. Like Capela, Gordon figures to have a big trade market since he's on a fair contract and can bring scoring power and shooting off the bench.
The Warriors have clearly broken the spirit of the Rockets. General manager Daryl Morey is doing whatever he can to lower the team's salary cap and get more talent around James Harden.
