LeBron James' offseason destination has been the obsession of every analyst since the NBA Finals ended with a resounding loss for the Cleveland Cavaliers. And while he's been rumored to be a strong candidate that lands in Los Angeles, NBA.com's David Aldridge thinks he will land in Clutch City.
The longtime TNT reporter made an appearance on the Tony Kornheiser Show and noted he thinks he will land in Houston alongside Chris Paul after seeing their success against the Golden State Warriors throughout the season.
“My guess would be Houston. He's very close with Chris Paul,” said Aldridge at the 14:20 mark of this clip. “It's a team that is showing you they can compete with Golden State. [Houston] will be very aggressive this summer courting LeBron.”

The Cavs have taken a major step back this season in light of the Kyrie Irving trade and the many injuries and adjustments made to this roster, having lost seven of their last 10 games and 10 of their last 14.
Even if they manage to find the right switch, there is a high chance that this will be James' last run in Cleveland and he could look to solidify his legacy by winning more championships.
Putting pen to paper with the Rockets might be trickier than it sounds, as the team was forced to give away half the roster to acquire Chris Paul (mind you, with only one year remaining on his deal) and will have to let go of nearly every other player to sign him after doling out a whopping $118 million over the next for the next four years to keep James Harden as the centerpiece of this team.
