The Houston Rockets are currently 13-32, the third-worst record in the NBA. In other words, the Rockets will be open for business at the current NBA trade deadline. One of the Rockets' most attractive trade chips is veteran guard Eric Gordon, who has reportedly drawn some interest from teams already. In a recent article by Michael Scotto of HoopsHype, the Rockets' rumored asking price for Gordon in trades was revealed.

With Gordon healthy and adding a needed veteran presence to a rebuilding Rockets team, Houston is seeking a first-round pick in trade talks for the veteran scoring guard, league sources told HoopsHype.

Per Scotto, the Rockets are rumored to be seeking a first-round pick in return for Eric Gordon. If the rumor is to be believed, that is quite the asking price for a 32-year-old guard with a base salary over $18 million.

However, any Gordon trade talks can center around the fact that he is a veteran presence who just so happens to be shooting at the best clip of his career from both the field, 50.5 percent, and three-point range, 45.5 percent.

If Houston does decide to trade Gordon, there are plenty of teams that would benefit from his three-point shooting and floor-spacing ability.

The only thing that could stall an Eric Gordon Rockets trade is the franchise's rumored asking price.
