Carmelo Anthony's time with the Atlanta Hawks was so remarkable that a video tribute has been created to celebrate the soon-to-be Houston Rockets forward's five-day legacy with the franchise.

In this hilarious parody video, several clips are stitched up together to make it seem that Anthony's time with the Hawks was much more than just a salary dump.

On the onset, the deal that brought Anthony to Atlanta made very little sense. The Hawks would end up paying his $25.6-million salary this season, without any intention of actually making him part of their final roster. Moreover, they were willing to give up starting point guard Dennis Schroder to the Oklahoma City Thunder.

However, taking a closer look at the particulars, the Hawks actually end up as winners in this deal. By parting ways with Schroder, they are able to also rid themselves of the $46.5 million owed to him over the next three seasons.

After signing the German to a four-year, $70 million contract in 2016, things did not exactly go according to plan for Schroder and the Hawks. Atlanta was determined to move on, and handpicked rookie Trae Young as their point guard of the future. Moving Schroder then became necessary to make room for the development of the 19-year-old stud.

For the Rockets, the impact of the eventual acquisition of Anthony still remains to be seen. Given his difficulties in Oklahoma, question marks remain on how he will fit in with the likes of James Harden and Chris Paul in Houston. Nonetheless, he is still a 10-time All-Star, and is just one season removed from being a cornerstone player.
