The Atlanta Hawks (8-29) entered Wednesday night's matchup with the Houston Rockets as the worst team in the NBA and one of the most porous defensive teams in the league.

But is there any way to quantify sheer lack of hustle?

Rockets big man Clint Capela found himself all alone even after blowing multiple uncontested efforts at the rim, finally converting on the third attempt.

This is certainly an embarrassing spectacle for Clint Capela, but it is just as agonizing — if not even painful — for the Hawks and head coach Lloyd Pierce.

Both Trae Young and Allen Crabbe essentially just stood around even after Capela missed the bunny, and they were practically sauntering over to the basket when Capela offered them a chance to contest the shot. Meanwhile, the Rockets big man — who ranks third in rebounds per game — got quite a boost to his average on the boards.

The Hawks are still a young team with plenty of room for growth, but not much can compensate for the utter lack of effort on this play.

Not that Capela or the Rockets are complaining.
