The Houston Rockets have out the entire NBA on notice so far this season, boasting the best record in the NBA.

They've taken the league by storm in such a way that Rockets legend Hakeem Olajuwon gave his two cents on just how well his former team is playing this season, per Adam Wexler of KPRC-TV Sports.

“They're playing the best basketball in the league,” Olajuwon said. “They way they're doing it — the complimentary, the chemistry, the culture. Everything is coming together at the right time.”

The Rockets currently sit at 20-4, which is one loss better than the Boston Celtics. They have been healthy pretty much all season and don't look to have any signs of slowing down.

For Olajuwon to give this kind of praise to a Rockets team is significant, but overall not surprising. He played many years for the franchise and won back-to-back championships with it in the mid-1990s.

But that still doesn't take away from that fact that he's right. The Rockets have taken the league by storm, leaving many NBA fans and media alike to wonder whether this Houston team can legitimately challenge the Golden State Warriors for the championship.
