Westbrook, who hasn’t played in a game since Aug. 11 due to a quadriceps injury, is expected to have a minutes limit in Game 5, according to Rockets head coach Mike D'Antoni.

“If things are normal, we expect [Westbrook] to be ready to go,” Mike D’Antoni said during a conference call with on Friday, via Yahoo Sports. “I'm sure they'll have time restraints. We have not talked about that at all. And that won't be discussed until tomorrow. I'm planning on it but you never know. And Russell, he’ll be hard to hold down. I'm sure he's anxious and ready to roll.”

According to Kelly Iko of The Athletic, Westbrook was slated to play in the originally scheduled game on Wednesday. However, the game was postponed as players protested racial injustice and police brutality.

Nevertheless, Westbrook has played phenomenal in his first season with the Rockets, averaging 27.2 points, 7.9 rebounds, and 7.0 assists in 35.9 minutes per game. The 31-year-old guard is also shooting a career-high 47 percent from the field and 25 percent from 3-point range.

As for the Rockets, they'll be seeking to retake the series lead over the Thunder. They were initially up 2-0; however the Thunder have won two straight games. Inserting Westbrook back into the starting lineup will certainly take some of the load off James Harden, so the Rockets must be thrilled that Westbrook is finally healthy.
