Video: James Harden doing some home cooking at pick up game in UCLA
It didn’t take long for the NBA’s Most Valuable Player in Houston Rockets superstar James Harden to come back home to his roots, putting in some work at UCLA after he went back to his native Los Angeles for some offseason hoop action.
While some players at the Bruins facility were hoping to get a good sweat, they might have gotten much more than they bargained for, as Harden drilled a plethora of step backs, crossovers, alley-oop and behind-the-back passes to woo those able to witness it, looking every bit of the dominant superstar he was in this past 2017-18 season.
Here are some of the highlights:

Harden, from the Bellflower area of L.A., drilled plenty of contested shots, as a good warmup to the preseason.
The Bearded One is often a participant in plenty of charity games in the offseason, as well as a staple in The Drew League as one of the biggest pro names to attend.
Needless to say, Harden has not lost his touch throughout the crazy summer and should be back in tip-top shape to do some more cooking at the NBA level after leading the league in scoring with 30.4 points per game last season.
