There is no such thing as a big lead the Houston Rockets can’t overcome. However, James Harden and the Rockets fell short of completing their comeback bid, suffering a loss in Game 2 of their Western Conference semifinals series against the Utah Jazz.

It goes without saying that Harden has a lot to do with the Rockets’ run as he poured a good chunk of his point total in the third quarter, including this vicious slam dunk in the face of Jazz power forward Derrick Favors.

Harden entered the game coming off a sublime performance in Game 1 in which he scored 41 points with seven 3-pointers, eight rebounds, and seven assists to lead his team to a 110-96 victory.

Tonight, the MVP favorite totaled 32 points, six rebounds, and 11 assists in a losing effort in front of the fans in Houston.

Harden leads the Rockets in the playoffs with 31.0 points on 42.0 percent shooting from the floor with 5.3 boards and 7.3 dimes per game, entering Game 2.
