Houston Rockets point guard Russell Westbrook was unhappy with officials on Friday night after he was called for a pushing foul against Philadelphia 76ers center Joel Embiid during the second quarter of their match at the Toyota Center.

Considered one of the best rebounding guards in the league today, Westbrook was fighting for position underneath and got entangled with the 7-foot Embiid in a bid to box him out. Replays showed that the pair did push each other as they tried to clear Mike Scott's missed 3-pointer, but it was the Rockets star who got flagged for the foul.

The 31-year-old was visibly irate by the call, as he went after the official and tried to plead his case. Russell Westbrook only made it worse, as he got T'd up in the process.

It is worth noting that Westbrook and Embiid have a bit of history together, figuring in a beef last season after publicly sharing their disdain for one another.

The Rockets had a slim 60-53 lead after two quarters, with Westbrook pitching in nine points and three boards. Embiid had 12 points and four rebounds at the half.
