Following much discussion surrounding Pro Bowl defensive end Michael Bennett's future with the Seattle Seahawks, the team elected on Wednesday morning to trade him to the Philadelphia Eagles. It is expected to be the first of many major offseason moves for the Seahawks as they reshape their roster ahead of the 2018 season.

This has put a few other teams in motion as they look to get involved in the trade market, with the Eagles now ramping up their efforts to trade veteran defensive end Vinny Curry as well as the Los Angeles Rams agreeing to trade linebacker Alec Ogletree to the New York Giants. According to Jordan Schultz of Yahoo Sports, it isn't anticipated to stop there, as there will likely be several other star players on the move this offseason.

There has already been plenty of action so far this offseason ahead of the start of the free agency period, headlined by Pro Bowl quarterback Alex Smith getting traded to the Washington Redskins. Meanwhile, the Chiefs also shipped All-Pro cornerback Marcus Peters to the Los Angeles Rams. Shortly following that, the Rams decided to move former Pro Bowl defensive end Robert Quinn to the Miami Dolphins.

Beyond that, there have been several other star players, such as Dolphins wide receiver Jarvis Landry, Seahawks' defensive backs Earl Thomas and Richard Sherman, Denver Broncos cornerback Aqib Talib, and Eagles quarterback Nick Foles, mentioned in trade rumors. This alone could set the table for several big names finding new homes in the NFL ahead of next season.

It has been awhile since there has been this much movement in the offseason that could have such a significant impact. This could all be tied to how the free agency period shapes out with the available players deciding where they will play in 2018. Ultimately, it could wind up being one of the most hectic offseasons that the NFL has seen in several years.
