Players technically have had access to RuneScape on mobile devices way back in Fall 2018. That's a fulfillment of developer Jagex's promise way back in 2017 that they'll bring RuneScape to mobile devices. However, that's just partial fulfillment of their promise, as they only released Old School RuneScape on mobile back in 2018. But now, RuneScape Mobile arrives in full on Android and iOS devices on June 17, 2021.
RuneScape Mobile has actually been on Early Access for Android devices since 2019. But now, the full release for both Android and iOS devices has arrived. Players of of the game on PC will be able to carry over their progress to the mobile version. Cross-platform functionality exists, so if you happen to have both Android and iOS smartphones, you can play the same account on both platforms.
RuneScape remains to be one of the most popular MMORPG games today. Ever since its release in 2001, millions of players have traversed the medieval fantasy world of Gielinor. Players have a lot of roleplaying options in the game, which is why the game has a very widespread appeal.
