Russell Westbrook had a mind-blowing triple-double last night, totaling 51 points, 13 rebounds, and 10 assists, playing a whopping 45 minutes as the Oklahoma City Thunder edged the Phoenix Suns 113-110 in overtime.

The media caught up with the All-Star point guard and asked him if his workload was exhausting after putting up 44 shots in the game.

“You gotta wanna win,” he told Thunder beat writer Fred Katz. “It's pretty simple. When you want to win, you don't think about being tired. To me being tired is a mind thing. It's in your mind, you gotta guard and compete at a high level and leave it all on the floor.”

That's as Westbrook as that response can get — he's a one-of-a-kind player with a maniacal sense of competitiveness, making him not only a great scorer, but a formidable opponent.

The OKC star will test his mettle against the Los Angeles Lakers next on Sunday at 4 p.m. PT.
