The Sacramento Kings may have fallen short to the New York Knicks, but that doesn’t mean that they wouldn’t win in something else.
They combined two beloved concepts — babies and Star Wars — and turned it into a fantastic Baby Yoda race during one of the game’s timeouts.
ESPN shared footage of the adorable race, and the Baby Yodas were absolutely adorable.
So fast, they are 🤣❤️

This isn’t the first time a baby race was done in an NBA game, but this is definitely one of the first that had the popular Disney+ series The Mandalorian in mind. Baby Yoda has become such a hit with the public that even non-Star Wars fans knew of the reference when the Kings held the race.
It was an adorable sight, but Baby Yoda’s charm didn’t work on the Knicks. Julius Randle had a solid night, finishing with 26 points, 9 rebounds, and 4 assists. Buddy Hield’s 34 points, 12 rebounds, and three assists tried to stem the tide, but the Knicks were just too much for them.
