The Sacramento Kings have not been to the playoffs since 2006, and they have never been super active in free agency. Rumors have been swirling all summer about Buddy Hield and Marvin Bagley being moved, but nothing has materialized (for now at least). The Kings' free agency thus far has included the re-signings of Richaun Holmes, Terence Davis and Moe Harkless, as well as the addition of Alex Len.

These were solid signings, but they failed to make any major upgrades or moves. The biggest addition was guard Davion Mitchell, whom they selected with the 9th pick in the draft. Mitchell is perhaps the most NBA-ready player in the class and adds to the already stacked backcourt. Unless the Kings move Hield before the season starts, it will be hard to get everyone playing time.

The Kings' backcourt currently includes De'Aaron Fox, Tyrese Haliburton, Buddy Hield, Mitchell and Davis. It will be interesting to see how coach Luke Walton handles that rotation.

That being said, here are the Kings' 2021 NBA free agency grades for every signing.

Richaun Holmes: A-

Richuan Holmes has been an integral part of the Kings over the past few seasons. Resigning him made too much sense, plus they got him for a great price of $55 million for four years. This was a great deal considering the production of the big man.

Last season, Holmes averaged 14.2 points per game along with 8.3 rebounds. He also shot an efficient 63.7 percent from the field. Holmes is also a great shot blocker as he averaged 1.6 blocks per game. A team with a ton of guards needs a solid big man, and Holmes provides that for Sacramento.

Moe Harkless: C+

Moe Harkless is a solid wing defender that can be a depth piece for the Kings. He doesn't provide much offense, but Sacramento got a solid deal with him with his two-year, $9 million deal.

Last season, Harkless averaged 5.2 points per game–albeit in an inefficient manner He shot an abysmal 27.4 percent from behind the arc, which is well below league average.

This is a decent signing for the Kings, but he won't fix the lack of forwards of the team.

Terence Davis: B-

Terence Davis is a young guard that will be in a stacked backcourt rotation. Last season, Davis averaged 8.7 points per game on 36.7 percent shooting from behind the arc. Davis was signed to a two-year, $8 million deal which could very well be a steal for the Kings.

He will be a solid backup guard for Sacramento, though he could thrive more if Hield is traded.

Alex Len: C

Alex Len has been a decent center throughout his career, but never special. The Kings signed him on a two-year, $7 million deal–which is a fair contract.

Last season, Len averaged 6.6 points per game along with 4.1 rebounds. Healso had one block per game, showing his defensive value.

He will be a decent backup big, but will not be anything great.

The Kings have had a decent offseason, but many people expected more. Bagley and Hield were expected to be dealt, yet they have been unable to get a deal done.

Look for the team to have another tough season as they try to build a team.
