The New Orleans Saints will be traveling to California to take on the Los Angeles Rams in Week 2. While prepping for the game, Alvin Kamara has really impressed Rams head coach Sean McVay.

“You talk about a guy that’s got an unbelievable forward body lean. He’s always breaking tackles going forward. I’ve heard somebody refer to him that he’s like a kickstand guy. It’s like he’s got an extra leg. He’s able to just stay so balanced and so grounded. He’s got incredible hands. He’s got a great feel for space.”

Since the Saints selected Kamara in the third round of the 2017 NFL Draft, he has been one of the NFL's worst players to game plan against. Kamara is able to make people miss after receiving a handoff or after he catches a pass.

At 5-foot-10, 215 pounds, Kamara may not look menacing but he still can pack a punch to finish off runs. His underrated power coupled with his elusiveness makes him a nearly unstoppable force in the backfield.

In Week 1, the third-year running back was able to gain 97 yards on the ground on just 13 carries. Along with his rushing stats, he was also able to create mismatches through the air with seven receptions for 72 yards.

Now, this week, Kamara will be going up against the team that ended the Saints' season in last year's NFC Championship game. The Rams were able to contain him to just 15 rushing yards in last year's NFC Championship game but Kamara still had 11 receptions for 96 yards.

Nevertheless, Los Angeles will have their hands full trying to slow down Kamara—and McVay knows it.
