New Orleans Saints running back Alvin Kamara found himself in hot water the night before the Pro Bowl in February when he got into an altercation at a Las Vegas nightclub and is now facing charges of felony battery.

Then on Thursday, Pro Football Talk reported that Kamara is bracing for a six-game suspension from the NFL, per their sources. The Saints star set the record straight on those rumors when he took to Twitter on Friday to call the outlet out:

Yikes. Kamara is clearly not pleased. PFT essentially said their source was from the league, but the Saints stud clearly has no clue about a possible suspension. However, since he is dealing with felony charges, there is certainly the chance the NFL could reprimand him still. They will likely wait until the legal proceedings play out before making a decision.

A suspension would be fitting for the NFL's Personal Conduct Policy, which required a baseline of six games missed for felony battery. If he does miss time for the Saints, it would undoubtedly be a huge blow to their offense. Veteran Mark Ingram is currently Kamara's backup and would see most of the touches if the first-stringer was forced to be sidelined.

We'll see what happens.
