Alvin Kamara had a hilarious reaction to the New Orleans Saints' trade for Mark Ingram with the Houston Texans.

Ingram and Kamara are former teammates with the Saints. As you can see from the tweet, Kamara is pretty excited to have him back.

The Texans sent the veteran running back in Ingram to the Saints for late-round draft picks.

Ingram hasn't been great for the Texans as he averaged a career-low 3.2 yards per carry in this 2021 season. He has 92 carries for only 294 yards. Ingram spent most of his prime years in New Orleans.

Luckily for him, he's back in a winning situation, and, hopefully, that brings the old Mark Ingram back. He now moves to a playoff contender with the 4-2 Saints. The Texans are 1-6.

Ingram played eight years with the Saints. He earned two of his three Pro Bowl appearances with the team. However, he left after signing a three-year, $15 million contract with the Baltimore Ravens in 2019. Ingram was waived by the Ravens after two seasons and signed with the Texans in March.

The 31-year-old vet will only need 90 rushing yards to become the Saints' all-time leading rusher. If Ingram can play as he did in New Orleans a few years ago, he might break that in his first weekend with the team.

New Orleans will host the defending champion Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday. Tampa has one of the best rush defenses in the NFL, so it might not be a huge game for Ingram. Nevertheless, the Saints needed some running back help and Ingram can fill that role.
