The New Orleans Saints have been going through a rough patch, as they have lost five straight games, pulling them down to tie for last place in the NFC South—as the Carolina Panthers, Atlanta Falcons, and Saints all have identical 5-7 records coming into Week 14. Despite this, Saints fans have a reason to celebrate ahead of Sunday's game against the New York Jets, as quarterback Taysom Hill and running back Alvin Kamara are set to return, Hill has been suffering from a torn finger tendon, while Kamara has been ailing from knee and hamstring issues. Ian Rapoport reports the status of the two Saints pieces:

Apparently, Hill will be playing through the torn finger tendon, an injury that took place last Thursday. It's unclear how this will affect his game against the Jets, and Hill has been having a relatively mediocre season, logging in 320 passing yards on 49 attempts, for a completion rate of 53.1%, while contributing two touchdowns throughout the season in the process.

Kamara, meanwhile, has missed the past four weeks due to his knee and hamstring injuries, yet is good to go against the Jets. Kamara has recorded 530 rushing yards on 146 rush attempts, and three rushing touchdowns, while also having 310 receiving yards and four receiving touchdowns under his name. According to Mike Triplett of ESPN, Kamara was close to playing last Thursday, something he himself voiced out in an interview.

Via Mike Triplett of ESPN:

“He said I was close? I mean, close as in I could've put my helmet on. I felt good. But I'm definitely healthy, I'm back healthy.”

Looks like Taysom Hill and Alvin Kamara are back. Time to get hyped for Sunday's game, Saints fans.
