The New Orleans Saints were supposed to be play their Week 1 game against the Green Bay Packers at the Caesars Superdome, but Hurricane Ida forced the Saints to play the Packers in Jacksonville. The Superdome is now dealing with fire issues on the roof.

Check out this crazy footage from Tuesday:

The fire at the Saints' home stadium wasn't all that big and was out around 20 minutes or so after it was first seen by local media around 12:30 p.m. local time. It's not totally clear how the fire started. Work is being done to change over the logo on the roof from Mercedes Benz to Caesars, and there has also been work done to clean the roof in recent days.

The Saints were at Carolina for Week 2 and will be in New England for Week 3. The next home game is on Oct. 3 against the New York Giants. New Orleans is hoping to be back in the Superdome for that game. Some damage from Hurricane Ida was repaired in the aftermath, and hopefully the damage from this fire is minimal so that the team can play in its home stadium.

The Saints are 1-1 on the 2021 season. After destroying the Packers in shocking fashion, New Orleans got handled by the Panthers this past season.
