Dez Bryant was signed by the New Orleans Saints with the hope that he could be a major impact player down the stretch of the 2018 NFL season. Unfortunately, the Saints saw him go down with a season-ending torn Achilles in practice on Friday. Even though he never played a game with the Saints, his new teammates paid tribute to him on Sunday with touchdown celebrations.

Mark Ingram started the Bryant tributes following his touchdown in the first half.

Alvin Kamara soon followed with a Bryant tribute of his own after one of his touchdowns.

After seeing his teammates' reactions, Bryant took to his Twitter account to share his reaction to them paying tribute to him after his injury.

As previously noted by Clutch Points, Bryant is in for a long road of recovery. One of the toughest injuries to return from is a torn Achilles, especially for a wide receiver that relies on explosion for success.

Hopefully, Bryant will be able to return to the field next season. It is going to take a lot of hard work, but Bryant seems dedicated to the process. When he puts his head to something, he is usually able to accomplish it.

Bryant is 30 years old, which will make things a bit more difficult. He doesn't have the ability to recovery as quickly as he once did, but that will not stop him if he puts his head to the rehab process.

Expect to see Bryant come back next season at some point looking to get his career back on track. New Orleans is open to bringing him back if he can get healthy again, which could be an ideal fit like it would have been for him this season.
