The New Orleans Saints are on a roll. Drew Brees and company have been on fire as of late winning nine straight games after losing their season opener against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Along with the Saints looking like the best team in the NFL at this point in the season, Brees is having a career year at 39 years old. The veteran quarterback has been virtually unstoppable on the gridiron with only one interception to his credit after Week 11. Brees is making a strong case for his first NFL MVP award and is feeling great during the process of having arguably his best season to date, via Ian O'Connor of ESPN.

“I feel really good right now,” Brees said afterward. “I love my team. I love coming to work every day with these guys. I want to play my heart out for these guys. I care about them. I certainly don't want to let them down. I want to be as consistent as I can for them, give them confidence, put them in positions to succeed, and that's my job. So I'm just doing my job.”

With the Saints crushing the defending Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles in Week 11, New Orleans continues to prove that their success is no fluke. The Eagles may not be the NFC heavyweight they were last year, but it is still a testament to how good this Saints team is when they put up 48 points and hold Carson Wentz and company to only a touchdown.

On Thanksgiving, New Orleans will face the division rival Atlanta Falcons in which they'll be expected to win big at home. If Brees and this talented squad can keep firing on all cylinders, the veteran quarterback could very well be on his way to a second Super Bowl title and potentially his first MVP.
