New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees plans on returning for another season after the team suffered a brutal loss to the Los Angeles Rams in the NFC Championship Game on Sunday.

The Saints came up short in a 26-23 overtime loss, but of course, the controversial no-call late in the fourth quarter is what has everyone talking at this point.

Unfortunately, even with the NFL admitting to Sean Payton that it was a blown call, it doesn't change the result of the game for Brees and company.

However, with plenty of speculation surrounding his future in the league, Brees made it clear after the game that he intends on coming back next season, according to Josh Katzenstein of The Times-Picayune.

It's hard to imagine the emotions that Brees has right now after this type of game, but even at 40 years old, he continues to be one of the best in the NFL at the quarterback position.

He had an excellent year leading the New Orleans offense, and he appears to be set to do that once again during the 2019 season.

Still, this is undoubtedly one of the most disappointing losses of his career, and it seemed like a great opportunity for the Saints to capture another Super Bowl title before the missed call changed the game.
