Tom Brady has made yet another mark on NFL history. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback just passed Drew Brees to become the all-time passing yards leader in league history. The New Orleans Saints icon was nothing but proud of what his peer had accomplished.

Drew Brees was even seen cheering Brady on as the historic moment finally came. Check out the Saints legend giving a respectful applause:

Brees clearly had his message to Tom Brady locked and loaded, as he uploaded an Instagram post from where he was standing on the field, along with a heartfelt caption commemorating the moment.

ā€œCongratulations @tombrady on breaking the NFL All-Time Yardage Record! We have had some epic battles over the years, but more importantly, have been able to develop a great friendship along the way.ā€ said the legendary Saints QB. ā€œSome may be surprised what you are doing at age 44, but I am not. Your commitment and dedication to this game, your team, and to being the very best, are second to none. Very few realize the stress, sacrifice and struggle it takes to play the QB position for so many years. You continue to put greatness on display and bring out the best in those around you. Enjoy the moment as you have earned it!ā€
