One of the biggest offseason questions not just for the New Orleans Saints, but for the NFL is whether or not quarterback Drew Brees will be retiring. Per Dov Kleiman, Brees' trainer Todd Durkin posted a video of the future Hall of Famer's workout using a weighted sled.

Durkin was in disbelief as Brees' blazed through the workout. The Saints legend is 42-years old and is a pocket passer, so seeing him run the course like that is quite surprising.

Maybe he'll attempt to be a dual-threat quarterback? That would be a terrifying sight for opposing defenses. Seriously though, the video had a caption that stated “something must be brewing.” That something could range from having a healthy, active lifestyle in retirement or running it back one more time. The latter seems more likely if Brees continues to have intense workouts like the one mentioned.

The Saints have a complete roster and have playmakers on both sides of the ball. Unfortunately, they have been on the receiving end of some of the most heartbreaking, playoff losses in football history. The disappointment from these would take a toll on anyone.

Last season, Brees was injured and only played in 12 regular-season games, where he finished with 2,942 yards, 24 touchdowns, and six interceptions.

While these stats are nothing to balk at, Brees' play has certainly seen better days. On film, it looks like he lost much of his arm strength. This is an issue moving forward, as the offense will be more predictable. Hopefully, his offseason workouts can turn back the hands of time if Brees does decide to return for another season with the Saints.
