Emmanuel Sanders has a ton of glowing remarks for Drew Brees, including likening the New Orleans Saints star to one of his former quarterbacks.

While speaking about his new QB, Sanders compared Brees to Peyton Manning.

“I think It is Drew (Brees) and Drew works. I love it, like that guy, he goes to work every day. Every day he's coming to work with energies, like, nobody's going to outwork him. He's the hardest working guy, he reminds me a lot of Peyton (Manning),” the new Saints wideout said, per the team's website.

Sanders, who signed with the Saints this 2020 offseason, noted that Brees and Manning are comparable both in the physical and mental standpoint. The 33-year-old highlighted how both QBs are “sharp” and “on their toes about everything making sure that everybody's in the right place.”

On Friday, Sanders spoke to the New Orleans media for the first time since signing with the team in March. During his conference call, the veteran shared that he was the one that reached out to the Saints in free agency. He also noted that he is still getting acclimated with the team's offense.

“It's been clicking on all cylinders, and I'm looking forward to it. Like I said, I'm trying to still get acclimated with the [Saints] playbook. This is I think, (my) fifth day in a playbook. So I'm still trying to get acclimated with it and still trying to know where I'm supposed to be and how they want me to run the route and also add my flavor to it, but that's going to come,” Sanders shared.

“We've still got almost a month or so. I'm going to be digging in and hopefully within the next two weeks I'll know and we'll rocking and rolling on a high level because I definitely want to get that work started.”

At the same time, Emmanuel Sanders exclaimed that he always had the desire to win a Super Bowl with Drew Brees. Of course, Sanders won a Super Bowl with Manning in the QB's final season in 2015.

It remains to be seen if Sanders can help Brees win the final game of the season, but it sure looks like he's excited to play with another legendary quarterback.
