The New Orleans Saints won the NFC South in spectacular fashion with a victory over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Safe to say quarterback Taysom Hill managed to leave his imprint of the game once again.

Hill recorded a crucial blocked punt to help the Saints secure a 28-14 victory. He has now done a bit of everything to help New Orleans in the 2018 NFL season, via ESPN Stats & Info:

Taysom Hill blocked a punt for the Saints today. So this season he has…

– Completed passes
– Run for a TD
– Caught a pass
– Returned kicks
– Recorded tackles on special teams
– Blocked a punt

It is no secret that Hill has established himself as a bit of a swiss army knife. His versatile skill set makes him a seamless fit in any situation for head coach Sean Payton. He certainly has no restraints about using the former undrafted free agent out of BYU.

Hill is officially listed as a quarterback on the roster, however, it is safe to say that he is more of a utility player. His rare combination of size and speed make him an ideal player in Wildcat personnel. His prowess in essentially all areas of the game also allows Payton to further experiment with potential sub-packages.

Although Hill has made a name for himself as a bonafide all-around football player, it remains to be seen whether or not Payton will actually consider him to be a future starter at quarterback. Ironically, his arm seems to be the only glaring weakness in his game.
