Can Michael Thomas possibly have a better season than the one he just had this past year when he hauled in a league-leading 125 receptions for 1,405 yards and nine touchdowns?

Who knows, but ESPN thinks he can at least approach those numbers, as it is predicting that Thomas will end up catching 112 passes for 1,352 yards and eight scores in 2019.

Should Thomas post those numbers, he would undoubtedly be in the running for his third straight Pro Bowl appearance and perhaps another First-Team All-Pro selection.

The 26-year-old, who played his collegiate football at Ohio State, was originally selected by the Saints in the second round (47th pick overall) of the 2016 NFL Draft.

He went on to have a fantastic rookie campaign, snaring 92 balls for 1,137 yards while reaching the end zone nine times. Then, the following year, Thomas registered 104 catches for 1,245 yards and five touchdowns en route to his first Pro Bowl appearance.

The Los Angeles native then made his second consecutive Pro Bowl in 2018 while also earning First-Team All-Pro honors for the first time.

As for the Saints in general, they won an NFL-best 13 games this past season and captured the NFC South division title. New Orleans nailed down a first-round bye for the playoffs and then went on to defeat the Philadelphia Eagles in the Divisional Round. However, the Saints then suffered a devastating and controversial loss to the Los Angeles Rams in the NFC Championship Game, marking their second straight heartbreaking playoff exit, as they lost to the Minnesota Vikings on a last-second play the year before.
