New Orleans Saints star running back Alvin Kamara was at practice on Wednesday, making it seem like he could be on track to return for this weekend's game against the Philadelphia Eagles. However, Kamara wasn't at Thursday's practice, which now puts a lot more doubt into his status for this Week 11 matchup.

This obviously isn't ideal for the Saints, and fantasy football managers who have Kamara on their rosters have to be shaking their heads. After Wednesday's good news, this apparent setback is not what fantasy players wanted to see heading into the weekend as New Orleans prepares to face a mediocre Eagles team.

Kamara has consistently been one of the best fantasy running backs thanks to his dual-threat ability. He's having another strong season, with 530 rushing yards and three touchdowns to go along with 310 receiving yards and four touchdowns in eight games.

The Saints star didn't play in the Week 10 loss to the Tennessee Titans. With Kamara out, Mark Ingram got the bulk of the carries, rushing for 47 yards and a score on 14 attempts. Taysom Hill had three carries for 23 yards, but he's now dealing with an injury himself.

Keep an eye out for more Kamara updates as this Week 11 matchup draws closer.
