Kurt Warner tweeted out a video on Friday showing how he gave Drew Brees some cookies. These aren't your average cookies. They're goat cookies. They are “goats” with a number nine on them, the number Brees wears, as well as mardi gras paraphernalia on the baked good.

I'm sure Brees is humbled, but he's made the case to be given such a high honor. Even though many people still give Joe Montana or Tom Brady the “greatest of all-time” mark, Brees this season has made a case for himself to be in that conversation.

Brees has carried his team into the conference championship round in the playoffs and very possibly could deliver them to the Super Bowl. At the ripe old age of 40 years old, Brees had a season that was better than many in his youth.

Through 15 regular-season games, Brees threw for over 3,992 yards with 32 touchdowns and five interceptions. His completion percentage was an insane 74.4 percent, leading all NFL quarterbacks. His quarterback rating was 81.9, only trailing Patrick Mahomes by .1.  Brees is playing like an MVP, and will likely be fighting with Mahomes for the title and perhaps even the Super Bowl himself.

Brees had thrown for over 4,000 yards for twelve straight seasons, missing the mark this past season by only eight. He's thrown for over 5,000 yards four times. He's had 10 seasons with at least 30 touchdowns thrown. He's a twelve-time pro-bowler and has one Super Bowl win under his belt. Brees has an impressive resume, and can only make it better with his performance for the rest of the playoffs.
