All-Pro safety Tyrann Mathieu is coming back home to NOLA and joining the New Orleans Saints, and sure enough, Jameis Winston couldn't be any more excited about it.

The Saints quarterback didn't need to say or write any word to show how ecstatic he is with the news. Quote-tweeting the team's post about signing Mathieu, Winston added a honey, a badger and their symbol. For those not in the know, Mathieu is nicknamed “Honey Badger” because of his ability to force turnovers since he was in college.

It's not surprising Jameis Winston is hyped to have Tyrann Mathieu as teammate with the Saints. After all, his addition alone is a massive boost to their defense. Not to mention that he has Super Bowl experience, something that they really need in order to return to relevance and get back to title contention.

For his part, Mathieu is naturally excited to go back home and play in front of the fans that has supported him throughout his career. He also called the Saints' faithful as the “most exciting fanbase in all of football.”

“I look forward to being around my people, our people,” Mathieu added.

It is certainly exciting times for Saints fans with the return of their own, and it's really nice to see Jameis Winston and the rest of the team welcome the veteran safety with open arms.
